  1. What are your shipping options?
    Most our orders go through US Postal Mail, Priority & Insured. There are times that UPS or FedEx may be used especially when shipping larger items or if you need an item shipped overnight delivery. If you need an item sent overnight express mail or 2 day delivery please contact us at admin@midwestfamilyjewelry.com for a price on upgraded delivery. Shipping to Canada - Global Express w/Tracking & Insurance - $35.00.  International Shipping - $45.0
  2. What is your Privacy Policy?
    Midwest Family Jewelry Privacy Policy: We strive to protect your information from unauthorized use or disclosure. We do not sell or share any of your information with anyone including email addresses. We do send email solicitations to customers and prospective customers who provide us their email address. These are clearly marked as solicitations and provide an unsubscribe mechanism for future solicitations. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and respect your privacy.     Please email us at admin@midwestfamilyjewelry.com regarding this matter. Be sure to include your order number and the items in questions. We will investigate the matter once we have received the request.

  4. Will you ship to Canada or other Countries?
    Canada Shipments - Global Express w/Tracking & Insurance - This is the only shipping method we will use to ship to Canada due to many packages recently being lost during shipping. Shipping Cost - $35.00  Shipping invoice is due upon receipt. We do ship to certain other countries at this time. However, it should be noted that most countries have a very strict policy on Customs and Imports from the US. The customer is responsible for all taxes, Custom fees and import fees that may be assessed. If a shipment is lost in the foreign postal system we are not responsible since our US Postal Service does not insure out of country items. Please write to admin@midwestfamilyjewelry.com to inquire if an item can be shipped to your country and what the total shipping and handling charge would be before placing an order. Shipping Fees are non-negotiable. (Please read our Shipping  & Returns Policy)

    I am always happy to answer your questions. You may email us at: admin@midwestfamilyjewelry.com.  We will usually get back to you within 24-48 hours after we receive your email. The best way to reach us is by email.

  6. What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Pay with Amazon and Paypal. Paypal is our prefered method of payment. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can set one up very easily at time of purchase, but you do not have to. Credit cards payments are accepted by Paypal. We also accept Money Orders and Personal Checks. Money Orders and Personal checks MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS from the day you placed your order. If payment is not received within 7 days from the order date, your order will be canceled. If you would still like to purchase the item after your order has been canceled, you may reorder it again through our website. Please remember Personal Checks are held for 10 Business Days. It takes our bank approximately 7 to 10 business days for your check to clear. Once checks are clear we will then order your item through our distributor or your item will be shipped at that time.

  7. How soon will I receive my item?
    Most items are shipped within 5 to 10 Business Days after payment is received. If paying by Personal Check, checks will be held for 10 Business Days before the item is shipped. Please allow extra deliver time in this case. There may be times when an item is on back order or we are waiting for a shipment to come in from Italy. In that case we will notify you and you will have your choice of waiting for the item to come in or ask for a full refund. Please remember some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer.  You will receive an email once your item has been shipped along with postal tracking information. If you need an item shipped over night delivery, please contact us for an upgraded shipping charge.  Over night shipping charges are approximately $25.00, depending on where it is being shipped to.  Please remember to contact us prior to placing an order that needs to be shipped over night delivery and we will try to accommodate your request. 

  8. What is your return policy?
    We strive to exceed your expectations, therefore if you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the original & return shipping charges. Please contact us prior to returning items by email for further instructions and the return shipping address. Returns must be authorized within 10 days of your receipt of the item(s) and sent back within 30 days. You must contact us within 10 days of receipt to obtain a return authorization or your return will not be accepted. Returns will be issued in the same method in which payment was originally received, usually within 5-7 days of us receiving your jewelry return. If your item is a special or custom order (Example: custom sized rings, special orders or jewelry that has stones being custom set) then your item is non-returnable and non-exchangeable.  Also, any rings that you have re-sized by your jeweler are also non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable!  We recommend, also, that you insure your package fully when sending, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage on returned items. For all returned or exchanged items, we recommend using Fed Ex or UPS, or insured US Post. Please keep all mailing receipts until the credit or exchange has been completed. You may return your item for a refund of product purchase price or exchange (minus original & return shipping charges). The item must be returned in good condition, and in original boxes with all paperwork, parts and accessories to insure full credit. Your return MUST include a copy of your Invoice or Packing slip and a return authorization number to receive proper credit. To receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, e-mail us. Provide your invoice number. Any unauthorized returns, special orders, Custom sized Rings, customized or merchandise altered/damaged in any way will not be accepted. Original Shipping Charges may be refunded if a different item was sent to you in error by us or the item is damaged. Please notify me within 24 hours of receipt if any items are damaged, missing or a different item was sent to you in error. All items are carefully inspected prior to shipping. Items returned after 30 days will not be accepted and returned back to you. Also you must contact us within 10 days to notify us of your intent to return an item. If you do not contact us within 10 days after you receive your item to obtain a return authorization your return will not be accepted and no refund will be given.

    We charge sales tax only in Iowa, and the tax rate is 6.00%

  10. What is Sterling Silver?
    Sterling Silver has been used in jewelry making for thousands of years. Known for its affordability, ease of use, and trend-setting styles, silver has become widely used in today's marketplace. Silver by itself is very soft therefore, .925 Sterling Silver is composed of 92.5% silver and the other 7.5% is made up with copper, zinc or nickel. This additional percentage of metal gives Sterling Silver the durability required for jewelry, without compromising its beautiful white luster. Beautiful and durable, your Sterling Silver jewelry may tarnish with time. This is not uncommon and is not a permanent change. Tarnishing is a natural process which occurs when slight impurities in the silver react to the air. Tarnish can be easily removed with a polishing cloth or by using silver jewelry polish.

  11. What is Rhodium?
    Sometimes referred to 'Platinum Plating', rhodium is part of the platinum metal family. Rhodium is commonly electroplated to white gold as well and sterling silver jewelry. It is best known for its beautiful platinum finish and allows you the look of high priced platinum at a fraction of the cost. Rhodium is electroplated over sterling silver to enhance your jewelry's durability and resistance to tarnishing. Being a part of the platinum family, rhodium is extremely hard and resists scratching. Another well known attribute of rhodium is its resistance to tarnishing. Rhodium will not tarnish and does not require polishing. There are several precautions to take with your rhodium plated jewelry. Be careful not to use abrasive cleaners or wear your jewelry when performing tasks that may cause friction with your jewelry (such as gardening). While rhodium is very durable, over time with everyday wear, the plating may wear thin and expose the sterling silver beneath. Your rhodium plated, sterling silver jewelry can be re-plated fairly cheaply and easily by your local jeweler. 

  12. What is Stainless Steel?
    Our Stainless Steel rings are made from surgical grade 316L stainless steel. Stainless steel is known for its durability, strength, and neutrality. Stainless steel will not tarnish and does not react to most skin types. Stainless Steel can be finished with a brushed or highly polished finish. When highly polished, it takes on a mirrored effect equal to that of platinum. Our stainless steel rings come plain or set with stones.

  13. What is Titanium?
    Titanium alloy is a man made material used in everything from aircraft to heart valves. Known for its superior strength and light weight, titanium is an optimal choice for men's jewelry. Completely neutral, titanium will not react with even the most sensitive of skin types. Our titanium jewelry is designed to be worn everyday and last a lifetime with minimal signs of wear.

    No, we do not operate a physical store.  We are strictly an online store/business.
